Beginning in 2015 with the goal of serving exceptional sushi in a corporate lunch catering format, Makaseru has morphed and grown into a specialized sushi event company. Now in 2019, we curate exclusive sushi menus for private events and provide sushi chef services to a long list of tech and finance executives, and the occasional celebrity. Extensive references available upon request. Additionally, we offer a variety of sushi and classes on Japanese cuisine to the public here in LA and San Francisco.

 

Working with event planners, estate managers, executive assistants, caterers - and ultimately for their clients, we are able to provide a wide range of high end, technically executed sushi that would otherwise be unrealistic for clients to expect from even the more prominent catering companies and personal chefs we work with.
